Flowerbomb By Viktor & Rolf
This floral explosion releases a profusion of flowers that has the power to make everything seem more positive. Magically evocative notes immediately awaken your deepest senses, giving you the impression of living life in your own secret garden, away from reality. Sambac jasmine, centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, and ballerina freesia bloom on a base of patchouli.
It was introduced in 2005, as an oriental perfume for Christmas. Top notes tingle with fresh and sweet accords of bergamot and green tea.
A heart is floral and opulent with intensive, sweet and pure Sambac jasmine, seductive Centifolia rose, freesia and Cattleya orchid. Musk and patchouli in a base wrap us with an oriental scent, while its milky and powdery notes gently fondle our skin.
The bottle was designed by Fabien Baron, in shape of diamond-granate, alluding at the fragrance itself, since it is so explosive, sophisticated and glamorous. It was introduced at the 10th anniversary of Viktor&Rolf house’s work.
Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent
Discover Black Opium, the new feminine fragrance by Yves Saint Laurent – new glam rock fragrance full of mystery and energy. An addictive gourmand floral with notes of: Black Coffee – for a shot of adrenaline; White Florals – to instantly seduce; and Vanilla – for sweetness and sensuality. Black Opium is definitely set to seduce a whole new generation of fragrance fans. From its java 'jolt' of coffee through to the warm, sensual base notes, it's very, very wearable - but excitingly edgy.
Black Opium is a sexy perfume, super sweet, warm and very sexy scent. Almost intoxicating with the coffee and vanilla taking over as soon as you spray it. You will love the progression of notes coming to prominence. The sweetness and vanilla are pronounced at first. But some of the other notes start to come through as time goes on, as much as you love amber, musk, and sandalwood. The patchouli and light floral background really pop out, and it ends up lasting on the skin for over 8 hours.
Black Opium is a great fragrance for Christmas, dates and all occasions. If you love Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, you will love this.
Black Orchid By Tom Ford
The custom grown TOM FORD BLACK ORCHID is the show-stopping note in this incredibly luxurious scent. Sultry woods and rich fruit accords help to bring out the skin's natural perfume. The jet-black, art-deco inspired bottle adds to the fragrance's overall glamour.
Notes are Black Truffle, Black Orchid, Black Plum, Noir Gourmand Accord, Patchouli.
This sexy perfume is very powerful, bold and unique. It smells a bit of heavy floral but not a light and "airy" scent at all, with vanilla and patchouli meshed together. The first initial spray is strong, but the dry down is unbelievably sexy and unique. Furthermore it has a rich scent that is not over powering, but intoxicating all at the same time. Also it is very strong and it takes very little to leave a lasting effect, so only a spray or two are necessary. Black Orchid is probably a little heavy for summer and maybe perfect for the older, more experienced women. Tom Ford Black Orchid fits your personality beautifully as a Christmas gift.
Marc Jacobs Daisy
The effortless charm and youthful elegance of Marc Jacobs Daisy transports you to a place that is optimistic, beautiful and pure. Whimsical white daisies abloom on its cap give the iconic Daisy bottle a retro-cool twist. As charming and unique as the woman who wears the fragrance.
Let the sun flood you with Daisy, the new Marc Jacobs fragrance. Elixir of youth, Daisy is the sun, the joy of life, the freedom. Deliberately fresh, Daisy is simply charming.
Top notes are violet leaf, grapefuit and strawberry, middle notes are gardenia, violet and jasmine. Base notes are sandalwood, vanilla and musk.
Lovely, balanced fragrance, youthful in a very universal way. The mix of violets and grapefruit works very well in the opening. Especially the violets smell very lovely.
When the fragrance settles a bit, the grapefruit becomes too prominent for me. After a few hours the grapefruit fades away a bit, but to my taste not enough to let the violets shine bright.
Marc Jacobs Daisy is a very delicate and soft fragrance. Suitable for Christmas, spring and summer, but still not a winner for me in violet scents.
Definitely office friendly and not offensive, it's not particularly striking or memorable, but it's also a safe confidence booster and just generally a feel-good perfume.
Marc Jacobs Daisy opens the doors of a world where freedom and purity go hand in hand.
Armani Code By Giorgio Armani
Armani Code By Giorgio Armani is a seductive fragrance for men. It is a sexy blend of fresh lemon and bergamot softened with hints of orange tree blossom and warmed with soothing guaiac wood, and tonka bean.
Notes: Lemon, Bergamot, Aromatic Mediterranean Notes, Guaiac Wood, Tonka Bean
Launched by the design house of Giorgio Armani in 2004, Armani Code is a men's fragrance that possesses a blend of apple, lavender, cumin, citrus, and woods.
Elegant, soft, creamy, and powdery. You can imagine a dark handsome man as a smooth operator in suit drinking his espresso in a lounge bar after a good lunch.
Powder, that's the first thing to detect. It is very present in the opening. There is a faint citrus worked into it, but powder is all I get up front.
It does dry down fairly quickly into something more complex. The spice is always well balanced with a vanilla accord that you can appreciate.
Firstly Armani Code is different from what’s on the market for men. Secondly, It’s clean and sexy, it’s got some powder and spice. You will love the use of olive flower (the light anise note).
Moreover, Code is wearable at any time, and I can say It is recommended for romantic wear. Big thumbs up, Armani Code one of the best scents from Armani for Christmas !
Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede
The essence of charm. Peonies in voluptuous bloom, exquisitely fragile. Flirtatious with the juicy bite of red apple and the opulence of jasmine, rose and gillyflower. Mingling with the sensuality of soft, blush suede. Luxurious and seductive. Peony & Blush Suede was launched in 2013. The nose behind this fragrance is Christine Nagel. Top note is red apple; middle notes are peony, jasmine, carnation and rose; base note is suede.
Beautiful and elegant, solar rather than just sunny, very alive. A lovely scent. Delicate and feminine like a ballerina. Nothing too complex. It's just a pure peony scent with a light hint of suede. Very similar to Prada Candy Florale, just more rubbery and less citrusy.
It's suitable for Christmas. Not for intense summer heat. Great for rainy season. It lasts pretty long. And it's not your ordinary girly pink, It's very elegantly pink.
Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male
Since Jean Paul Gaultier's first men's collection, he has shown men that they can indulge in the forbidden, and that a kilt or dress can be worn with virility. A reminder to them that nothing in life is totally black or white but always a blend. Just as he made the woman in a corset as the symbol and bottle of his feminine fragrance, Jean Paul Gaultier now transforms the man in a sailor's T-shirt into both the symbol and bottle of 'LE MALE.' Top notes are Artemesia, cardamom, bergamot, mint, lavender. Heart notes Cinnamon, orange blossom, caraqay. And base notes are Cedar, vanilla, amber, tonka bean, sandalwood.
This cologne flouts convention and plays it two ways: between tradition and audacity, freshness and softness, strength and sensuality. It's a subtle, clean fragrance from Paris for Christmas.
